Ember Job Alerts - SMS Consent
Ember Hiring sends text messages only to clinicians who opt in to Ember Job Alerts on Ember's own website. This page explains how opting in works and shows the exact consent language.
How clinicians opt in
Staffing agencies that list their assignments on Ember share a link to their enrollment page on emberhiring.com with clinicians they already work with. Each agency has its own page, for example https://www.emberhiring.com/enroll/wellspring.
On that page the clinician enters their first and last name, mobile phone number, and optionally their email, and checks a consent box, which is unchecked by default. Opting in is optional. Consent is collected and held by Ember, and Ember is the only sender. There is no way to join by text message, and Ember does not buy, rent, or import phone numbers or consent from anyone else.
The consent language
Next to the checkbox the clinician sees the following, with the name of the agency that shared the link in place of [Agency]:
I agree to receive text messages from Ember Hiring about assignments matching my preferences, including assignments at [Agency], and to exchange texts with Ember's automated assistant, EmberBot, at the number I provide. Consent is not a condition of applying or of employment. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. See Ember's SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.

How to opt out
Reply STOP to any message from Ember to unsubscribe. You may also reply STOPALL, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, OPTOUT, or REVOKE. You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed. To get help, reply HELP or INFO, or contact us at hello@emberhiring.com.
